Time to Celebrate, Just Us Gals

Ahhh love is in the air. Chocolates are flying off the shelves, roses are everywhere and cards with outpourings of love are being written as we speak. But I'm not talking about Valentine’s Day love. While that is incredibly special too, I’m talking about another kind of love, the love for the amazing women in your life.

A group of fellow female entrepreneurs and I recently got together to celebrate each other and the badass boss ladies that we are. So to honour ourselves we threw a fabulous Galentine’s Day party complete with delicious food, beautiful decorations and of course lots of pink :)

We come from all different areas of the business world but there’s one thing unites us and that’s supporting other women in business.

Aija runs AIJA Candle Studio, a beautiful shop with products that are eco-friendly and use only the cleanest ingredients.

Jessie works in the health and fitness industry out of The Rep Room in London where she helps women transform their bodies and build strength and confidence through fitness.

Candace of Georgia and Ivy is an incredibly talented photographer who captures all of life’s moments just perfectly.

Joyce is the beauty and brains behind Dashing Balloon Shop who provides the most incredible balloon garlands and party aesthetics with balloons that are biodegradable and latex free!

Katie is a real estate maven with an amazing eye for design and detail…and donuts :)

Lindsey is so inspiring and tires me out just reading her Instagram feed. She is a runner, mom and wife and is an ambassador for Brooks Running Canada and RunDoyen.

And of course no Galentine’s Day celebration would be complete without my Upstaging Limited girls, Anissa, Aylem and Anastasia. I am so lucky to have this incredible and talented team with me every step of the way.

So how are you celebrating the ladies in your life this year? You don’t have to wait for this holiday, let’s all show each other more love and support all year round. Because when women support women, we all rise.
